Thioaptamers are phosphorodithioate DNA oligonucleotides that can be used as binding agents, capture agents as well as therapeutics. The dithio backbone substitutions create unique characteristics that enhance a thioaptmamer's binding affinity and nuclease resistance.  Thioaptamers also have the desireable achiral structure.

Create achiral structures, better affinity and greater nuclease resistance from your current oligos by using AM's thiophosphoramidites in conjunction with typical sulfurization reagents.  If sufurization is not used in your current oligo, consider making several dithio substitutions in your oligo's backbone to improve its affinity and nuclease resistance.  AM Biotechnologies or one of our strategic partners can produce your phosphorodithioate oligos for you.  Please contact us for a quote.

Have AM Convert Your Current Aptamer into a Thioaptamer

Improve binding and nuclease resistantance.  AM will start with your current sequence, create a library of thioaptamers that have dithio backbone substitutions in random sequence locations and use the proprietary bead-based selection process to select the thioaptamer with the preferred binding characteristics.

Purchase Thiophosphoramidites (A, C, T and G)

You may wish to make modifications to your oligos in your lab.  AM offers the reagents that make this possible.
